| Recognition of Outstanding Ambassadors |

Ambassador of the Quarter AwardRequired to attend a minimum of 50% of ribbon cuttings, the monthly Ambassador's meetings including Chamber luncheons and additional posted events. Recognized at the monthly Ambassador luncheon and on the Chamber website. A certificate is presented to the Ambassador of the Quarter at the monthly Ambassador meeting.
The membership director will provide a list of eligible Ambassadors at the end of March, June, and September, with nominees for the last quarter to be provided at the end of November, so that person may be considered for the Ambassador of the Year. From the nominees, the Chamber Ambassador Chairman and Chair-elect will name the Ambassador of the Quarter.
Ambassador of the Year One outstanding ambassador will be honored each year at the Annual Chamber of Commerce Membership luncheon in December. Recipient will be chosen from the four Ambassadors of the Quarter by the Chamber CEO and current Chamber Chairman of the Board.
Rookie of the Year Award This award honors Linda Hawes, a former recipient of the Ambassador of the Year award and a special friend to the Victoria Ambassadors whom we lost to cancer in 2003. The award is given to the Ambassador who performs outstanding service during their first year of membership in the Chamber Ambassadors. The award is announced at the Annual Chamber of Commerce membership luncheon in December of each year.
Life-Time Member Award No more than one Life Time member may be designated in any one calendar year. Eligible candidates must have been a member for five (5) consecutive years. The Life-Time Member Award is given for service above and beyond the required duties of an Ambassador. Life-Time members have their annual dues waived
