Ambassadors have a few requirements to meet:

• Attend Ribbon Cuttings, Ground Breakings, Special Chamber Events and Meetings.
• Attend Monthly Ambassador's Luncheon the fourth Wednesday of each month.
• Greet and welcome visitors and dignitaries to Victoria.
• Call on and encourage both new and existing businesses that are not members to join the Chamber.
• Participate in other activities as requested by the Chamber of Commerce President, Executive Committee or Board of Directors.
• Wear Ambassador's attire (Jacket or shirt, and Name Tag) when representing the Chamber at Ribbon Cuttings, Ground Breakings and other Chamber functions. 
• Be responsible for expenses incurred in participating in official functions of the organization.

Going Beyond the Call of Duty

• Recruit new Chamber Members.
• Serve as an Ambassador Officer.
• Serve on a Chamber Committee.
• Assist with special Chamber projects.
• Sign up a new member to attend a Chamber Event.

Attendance Record

It is the responsibility of each Ambassador to fill out their attendance record when attending events. 

If you attended an event that is not listed on the report, but it was a Chamber activity, please e-mail the information to the Membership Director (see listing). The Attendance Record  is prepared by the Ambassador Membership Director and is brought to the Ribbon Cuttings, Ground Breakings, and the Ambassador monthly meetings. This report tracks attendance for consideration for Ambassador of the Quarter, the Ambassador of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Life Time Membership awards.
