"Collect and Recollect" – Thursday, June 19, 2008 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Museum of the Coastal Bend. Photos from the late 1800s through the 1960s will be accepted for "Vintage Victoria, A Journey Through Time, Vol. II." Presentations include Conducting a Family Genealogy at 11 a.m., presented by Gloria Candelaria, Spanish genealogy specialist and Early Families in Victoria at 1 p.m. presented by Gary Dunnam, Victoria County Heritage Director. The Victoria Advocate will provide a complimentary Subway lunch to the first 30 people who R.s.v.p. to 361-582-2511 by 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 17. Admission: $2 for non-MCB members; free for MCB members, Victoria College and University of Houston Victoria students, faculty and staff and children under age four.
