The Texana Band will perform on the west steps of the Victoria Public Library at 7:30 PM on Thursday, May 1. The program will include a variety of popular music, including "A Tribute to Elvis," music of Frank Sinatra, music from the films of Bob Hope, and "The Syncopated Clock." Bring your blankets or lawn chairs and join us for this free outdoor concert.

The Texana Band has approximately 35 members and is under the direction of Mike Fassino. The band performs about half a dozen times a year throughout the region – Victoria, Jackson, Calhoun, and Matagorda Counties. The band rehearses on Thursday evenings in Edna and welcomes new members.
