Growing Center “Spring Fling” - March 22nd from 9am-4pm located at
120 David Wade Drive - This is the time of year to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather and get your yard looking its best! Let us help make it fun. We will have Horticultural Representatives from John Dromgoole’s Natural Garden Nursery to talk about their “Lady Bug” brand earth friendly products. Arthur Hvlac a horticultural expert will be on hand answering plant and pest questions. The Victoria County Master Gardeners will there presenting information on their programs and answering plant questions. Joy Pittman will demonstrate how she “tags” Monarch Butterflies for a major university. There will be instructional seminars conducted every hour throughout the day on topics such as propagation, creating floral arrangements with “stuff from the yard”, landscaping, creating unique color patio containers, and more. We will also have representatives from various local companies to talk about their products and services. And of course our famous Cranberry Chicken Salad will be on sale!
