The public is invited to attend a rare opportunity to see live birds of prey at Goliad State Park.  Doris Mager-founder of Save Our American Raptors (SOAR) will be making a presentation including three live birds of prey including an American Kestrel, Great Horned Owl and Crested Caracara.  Goliad State Park is located approximately 1/2 mile south of Goliad on Highway 183.  Park entry fee is $3.00 per person.  For more information please call 361-645-3405.

 

The event will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, January 18 and again at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm on Saturday January 19.
