Lecture, Campfire Dinner and Reception - October 21; lecture begins promptly at 6:30pm. The first “Distinguished Fellow of the Museum of the Coastal

” will be announced. Carol Taylor, historian, examines cattle drives, cattle marketing, droughts and packing plants in ante-bellum
Texas
. Immediately following the presentation, enjoy a Campfire Dinner prepared by Dr. Dennis Riedesel. The lecture and dinner will be held in the museum’s Outdoor Demo Area.
