| Victoria Arts League - Acrylic Workshop Scheduled – 907 S. Bridge - Patty Rucker, a retired art teacher from Lockhart, is scheduled to provide our January 9 program and follow up with a three-day acrylic workshop on January 10-12. She has a technique for painting acrylics on canvas that is user friendly to those of us who are intimidated by the fast-drying, hard edges of acrylic paints. She is experienced in both oils and acrylics, and her beautiful acrylics are indistinguishable from her oils. Tuition is just $150 for the three days, plus VAL's $15 building use fee. Her minimum class size is 10, maximum 15. She had difficulty finding a time to book us, as she's very much in demand. Patty asks that we bring photos of what we want to paint so she'll know what we're trying to create. Please sign up ASAP so we can assure her that the workshop had made.
