| Victoria Art League - Acrylic Workshop offered by Patty Rucker - Jan. 10-12, 2011, 9 am-5 pm; program on Sunday, Jan. 9 - Patty Rucker is an experienced painter in both oils and acrylics. She is a retired art teacher from Lockhart schools. She also teaches workshops in woodburning (hers look like sepia photos), scrimshaw, etc. Until recently she has exhibited at New Braunfels Art League's member gallery. Her beautiful acrylics are indistinguishable from her oils. She paints many subjects. She has a very practical and successful approach to handling the fast-drying acrylics.
