17th Annual “Shots Across Texas” Wellness Round Up at VictoriaCollege- The three Rotary Clubs of Victoria in partnership with VictoriaCollegeand local healthcare providers, students and other organizations will host the 17thannual Shots Across Texas Wellness Round Up. Parents and caregivers may bring children aged newborn to 18 years old tothe VC Health Science Center on Saturday, August 21 any time between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.Mandatory school and early childhood immunizations are free, but children must have shot records and be accompanied by an adult family member; extended family members such as aunts, uncles or older siblings are acceptable.In addition to immunizations, children will also have access to free vision, dental and other health screenings. Parents and caregivers can also get up-to-date information on child safety issues such as finger printing, car seat safety and new seat belt laws. Families are encouraged to attend and enjoy the food and fun, including free face painting or a walk through the Heart House.
