| Victoria Art League - Sunday, July 11, 2pm, social & refreshments followed at 2:30pm with a painting presentation by Sidney W. Johnston, Fine Artist of Victoria, and member of Victoria Art League.
Sidney
entered several juried art shows after completing his degree work. First and second place awards were common to his entries. In 2004 he suffered a stroke that paralyzed his right hand but after eight months of speech and physical therapy,
Sidney
regained some of its use. Encouragement from his doctor, wife, and the patience and guidance of his private art teacher, the late, Mrs.Ellie Poirrer, helped him resume oil painting. He now experiments with other mediums as well as photography. Please join us to greet him and enjoy watching his talents in action. The public is invited to attend.
